Integration solutions

With the integration solutions of the WebEye MAX service package, modern, efficient and competitive transport management solutions can be developed.

By connecting the customers’ transport management system and WebEye’s infrastructure, the planning, management and administration process can be completed on a high professional level, meeting individual user requirements and the ergonomics of work processes.

  • The forwarder company receives the transport orders electronically. Order forms contain data that determine the task, such as: places of loading, dates, scheduled stops, or even prohibited areas, where even passing is prohibited during fulfilment.
  • According to the incoming data, the person in charge of transport organization enters the places of loading, stops and the optimal routes of fulfilment in the database, then allocates these to the task defined based on the incoming transport order.
  • The next step of organization is to allocate a vehicle to fulfil the transport. It is practical to use the resources that are closest to the transport starting point, and most meet the requirements. Available vehicles can be searched by their geographical coordinates, which means that the vehicle that seems the most suitable for the fulfilment of the transport can be selected. With this method, the economical use of the vehicles in the fleet can be achieved and the rate of unloaded kilometre-uses can be reduced drastically.
  • After definition of the transport, and allocation of the vehicle, the next activity is to inform the driver. Thanks to the integration of the systems, this can be done fast and easily too. With the module responsible for task assignment in the WebEye Messenger application, the transport accurately defined in the transport management system can automatically be sent to the on-board unit installed in the truck cab, which the driver can see and handle on the screen. The task assignment module defines a transport as a sequence of scheduled activities.
  • The driver can confirm the acceptance of the certain activities and their partial or complete fulfilment for the centre by pressing buttons on the touchscreen device. The reports are automatically displayed for the users of the transport management system.

With the allocation of transport order and vehicle, the tracking of the transport fulfilment gets started. The WebEye system supports this control activity with various solutions.

WebEye Monitor

The dispatcher can track the movement and stops of the vehicle real-time on the screen, gain information on its current speed, the adherence to the scheduled route, or the use of driving and rest time. The real-time application displays the route of the vehicle and the planned route of the transport fulfilment, the scheduled and actual dates, and according to these data it displays the current status of tasks, whether their fulfilment is proceeding fine, whether they were started or completed in time, or if there is any delay.

WebEye History

Fulfilment control may be followed not only real-time, users access the information acquired during the transport fulfilment also subsequently, after a few days or weeks.

WebEye Alarm

The WebEye system immediately informs users of critical events that might arise during fulfilment control. It warns the dispatcher with an audiovisual alarm if a vehicle deviates from the scheduled route, exceeds the maximum allowed speed limit, starts or arrives late to/ from the scheduled location during the transport fulfilment.

In case of an alarm event, the dispatcher can contact the driver through the Messenger service of WebEye system, the system can send automatic email notification to any other person or organization concerned in performing the task, such as the consigner, or the warehouse workers at the place of unloading.

After fulfilling the transport, all important information appears in the transport management system, related to settlement of transport costs, fulfilment evaluation, or invoicing for consigner.

The WebEye system, however, collects and forwards not only the direct, operative information about the transport fulfilment , but also data related to the fuel use of the vehicle, cargo hold temperature, the driver’s driving style, working hours become available for further analysis, evaluations and data processing.
